Executive Manager – Mission & Philanthropy, Canberra

Anglicare provides children, youth and family services from more than fifty locations across south-east NSW and ACT, with a strong emphasis on supporting regional and rural communities.  We have a newly created permanent opportunity for an Executive Manager - Mission & Philanthropy for our central office, based in Canberra.

The purpose of this role is to ensure Anglicare achieves its mission goals by developing and implementing a philanthropic and social enterprise program to strengthen the agency's financial capacity to invest in new programs to tackle child poverty.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive philanthropy plan with annual targets, developing new revenue streams, increasing public awareness of Anglicare's charitable brand value proposition, and increasing media coverage of key advocacy campaigns.

The successful applicant will have extensive executive experience, including the ability to motivate and lead the performance of a multi-disciplinary team; and the ability to foster an environment of creativity and professional growth. They will also understand how to develop a philanthropy program in a faith-based context, ability to relate to church based constituencies and multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing or a related field.

RETAIL ASSISTANT, Full-Time Position Canberra & Queanbeyan
 
 
The Bargain Hunter Retail Recycling Stores are part of the Fundraising department of Anglicare. All funds raised by our stores are used to support Anglicare programs.
The primary focus of this role is to assist with all aspects of this retail operation including stock rotation, customer service, collection, sorting and processing of donated stock.
 
This is a full-time position, however could be part-time for 2 people.   This position will require you to have the flexibility to work across our various locations in Canberra and in Queanbeyan so flexibility is a key part of this role. Ideally, you will also be able to work on Saturdays.
 
The successful applicant will have previous experience in a retail environment, good customer relations skills, a pleasant attitude and the ability to work independently and within a team environment including our volunteers willingness to work in a team with staff and volunteers is essential.
 
Prior to appointment, applicants will be required to undertake the psychometric profiling instrument – SafeSelect TM.

CASE WORKER Homelessness Support Service & Family Support- Yass, Part-time Position Available


We are seeking an experienced, suitably qualified and motivated person to fill the position of Case Worker.  This position will provide case management and support to clients residing in emergency accommodation along with housing outreach support for males, females and families in the community.
 
The successful applicant will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and have demonstrated experience in the human services field preferably in the area of homelessness.  This position offers enormous job satisfaction and the opportunity to work within a dynamic organisation that values professional development.  Generous salary packaging benefits are available under Anglicare’s PBI status.

We require a passionate and enthusiastic Assistant Director/Educational Leader to join our Exceeding Early Childhood Centre at Calwell, this is a full-time, noncontact position. We are looking for someone who is passionate about nature based education and who likes motivating educators to dance in the rain and look for fairies under the trees.

We have an opportunity for a trainee early childhood educator to join the infants team at Gordon Early Childhood Centre.  This position is required to work 75 hours per fortnight and all training will be provided through the Anglicare College.
