9 August, International Day of the Worlds Indigenous Peoples

30 August, Refugee Sunday, a day to pray for refugees and their nations torn by violence and oppression.

October, Anti poverty week

6-8 October, Synod

4 November, a day for Anglicans and Roman Catholics to pray for one another.

5 November, Defence Sunday or a day offering prayers and support to chaplains, members of the Defence Force and their families.

25 November, International day for the elimination of violence against women (white ribbon day)
