About our Agencies
Anglicare
The mission of Anglicare Canberra and Goulburn is a shared expression of Christian faith with the Diocese
and its diverse parishes. Anglicare seeks to respond to human need through loving service
and aims to provide quality programs to advocate for change to make society more just.
Across the Diocese the agency offers in excess of 100 programs and services, broadly in the areas of youth and family,
aged care and parish initiatives.
Youth, family and community programs, offered at more than 35 locations, cover emergency and transitional housing,
childcare, foster care, disability services, mental health counselling, health care, drug and alcohol education and op shops.
Aged care services include 269 self-care units, respite care, 138 residential high-care places, 225 low-care residential places
and 92 community aged care packages.
The research and development team works to grow networks with partner agencies, promote innovation
and contribute to social policy debate at a state and national level.
